The Misfit Artist or so called myself. From my first museum visit to my first role in a musical, the arts and I have always been together through thick and thin and I have always embraced my differences making me a ‘misfit’. The arts have continually served as a refuge from the sorrow of bullying or the grief of losing the only place I called home. I only grew in my passions and love for theatre, traditional art, literature, film and fashion. For as long as I can remember, I watched animated films filled with cheery music and I have been changed for good. I currently hold academic interests in animation, film, theatre, language, fashion, writing and poetry.
